-La Fortaleza-is the current official residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico. It was built between 1533 and 1540 to defend the harbor of San Juan.

-El Capitolio-is located within San Juan, which is the capital of Puerto Rico.

The building is home to the bicameral Legislative Assembly, composed of the House of Representatives and Senate.
